Fullerton Arboretum ( Perfect to visit on any nice day)

http://www.arboretum.fullerton.edu/

The Fullerton Arboretum, a 26-acre botanical garden with an ecologically arranged collection of plants from around the world, is located on the northeast corner of the California State University, Fullerton campus (hours/map/directions). The Arboretum serves the community as a resource for ecological, horticultural, and historical education. The beautiful grounds offer visitors a peaceful garden setting in the midst of our urban area. Events

The Fullerton Arboretum is one of my favorite places to go for some peace of mind. Admission is Free, Donations are appreciated and it deserves one. The arboretum is located on the back of cal state fullerton off yorba Linda Blvd. to the left of the base ball field, and has its own parking lot.  image 2

My favorite events are the Halloween Haunt in October for the kids, Getting my tomato plants at the potting shed. And the best is just getting out and walking around outside, The Arboretum has everything from rain forest trees to desert plants. It really is worth checking out. It is also a great location for out door weddings and receptions.

Here are just a few of the events, Check them all out at http://www.arboretum.fullerton.edu/clndr/clndr.asp
